District 53

Metal detecting haul. 9:30am - about 4:00pm. The weather was forecast to be absolutely awful, but fortunately it held off for us! Just shy of $23 in modern coins, sadly only one pre-decimal but a few interesting relics!

Overall haul.

Seahorse head, judging by the weight I think this is lead.

Dog registration tag. It looks like rego number 3, district 53.

Reverse side of dog tag.

Close up of the date you can see, it's July 1930, presumable to June 1940. My oldest dog tag to date.

1951 sixpence, PL mint.

I think this is a button.

Ladies' or child's watch inner bits.

Junk ring.
