If you're reading this and you haven't read part 1, good news!  You don't need to go back and read it first, but it may be useful if you want the back story.

The Deus Duo revisited "the button hole" - named for the amount of buttons we've pulled out of there.

There were a few buttons found today in addition to some coins and interesting relics.  Head on over to our facebook page for more photo's of John's finds.

    Here's the su...

The duo returned to an old site that we've been to a couple of times before.  We'd had some nice rain recently so I decided to see what the creek had to offer.

In the past I've avoided creek beds themselves as they have too much iron, but today I decided to dig it...

This week I teamed up with my Deus Duo partner - it felt good to get back into the swing of things (pun intended).

Not the best haul for me, but I was pleased (and jealous) that my mate finally cracked the 1700s with a. cartwheel penny.

The Deus Duo hit the soil again today, I pulled out 5 predecimals, two dog tags, a few relics and a bunch of shot gun shell casings.

Following on from a NYE hunt was a NYD hunt!  I deliberately avoided the beach and headed inland instead, taking the white HF coil with me.

Find of the day for me went to this taxi from 1986.  Once I cleaned out the dirt from the inside, the doors would open again.

Last hunt for2018 didn't turn up any coins, but I did score my third "mostly intact" toy gun.  A lot of ammunition casings, a couple buckles and the biggest harmonica reed for me to date.

My Deus Duo partner and I visited a spot near the button hole mentioned in previous posts.  It certainly didn't disappoint!  I came out with two (possibly three) silvers and a rising sun badge.  My mate also found some interesting items.  Will definitely have to revisi...

I went back to the spot where I found the Australia Day Adelaide 1918 badge to see if there were any other treasures to be found - and there were!

Went to a site that I have had my eye on for a while, it didn't disappoint!

My favourite find of the day was the 1918 Australia Day Adelaide badge, but the other relics indicate this spot has some potential for more visits!
